Computers can now copy a voice from a short video. A secret word that only your family knows proves it is really them.

How it works

Choose a word together

Pick something easy to remember but hard to guess. Not a name, a birthday, or anything you have posted online.
Agree it in person or on a normal call

Don’t send it by text or WhatsApp. Don’t write it in your phone.
Ask for the word

If anyone calls or sends a voice note asking for money in an emergency, ask: “What is our word?”
No word? End the call

Then call them back on the number you already have saved for them. A real family member will understand.
